Hey, internet! First things first, I went to the doctor today to see what I have. I mentioned a while back that I was sick. Well, I'm sick yet again, with a totally different thing. So I went to the doctor and I either have strep throat (the test was negative, but the 24-hour test could turn up positive) or some sort of virus. The doctor said it could be mono, but (thank goodness) its not mono. I've missed this entire week of school, and I'm not sure if I'll be 100% by Monday. But we'll see.
Hopefully it won't be strep throat either, so I can go party it up and my friend's party tonight. Not that it'd be much fun being sick, but if its not contagious, then why not?
So, since I haven't done anything this week at all, I figured I'd compile a list of songs/artists that I've fallen in love with lately.
-Something Corporate
I can't really think of a song by Something Corporate that I don't like. I especially like the song 'Straw Dog'. The lyrics are really interesting. Also, 'You're Gone' is a really good one. :]
-Jack's Mannequin
A lot of people like JM, and if you haven't heard their music, I suggest you do. I especially like 'Dark Blue' and 'Kill the Messenger', but anything by Jack's Mannequin is pretty much golden.
-Eleventyseven
I recently started listening to them (and by recently, I mean yesterday). I really just generally like their sound, but I wouldn't recommend them to someone who doesn't like electronic-type music. I personally like the song 'Evil Genius', because the lyrics just make me smile.
-Stephen Jerzak
Stephen Jerzak, I do believe, is an unsigned artist that mostly operates through Myspace. However, his music is enjoyable. He did a cover of White Horse (originally by Taylor Swift), and I like it SO much better than the original. Also, his song 'Cute' is literally the cutest song I've ever heard.
That's all for now! Maybe tomorrow I'll let the internet know who my favorite Youtubers are? We'll see.
Hope you're all healthy!
Have a grrrreat weekend, internet.
